As the 2022 school year begins, many students will not have the essential tools they need to learn.
The impact of COVID-19 in our community has forced many local families to continue to make difficult decisions each day between food, utilities, and now, supplies for their children to be prepared to learn in the new school year.
Regardless of where students are learning, equal access to school supplies impacts their self-esteem, interest in education, and class participation. Knowing this, teachers often purchase supplies out of their own pockets to help their students reach their fullest educational potential.
